My mom moved to Tucson seven years ago, and her health has been so up and down during this time that I have moved her to seven different facilities to accommodate her changing needs.
Before moving to Carrington Assisted Living, mom had a lovely apartment in a comfortable assisted living facility, but last November she reached the point where she was not able to partake in the activities offered there and she needed more care than they were able to provide in that setting.
Since my family could not afford private caregiving as well as the cost of the facility, I began a search for a place that would meet mom’s high-care needs in a reasonably priced, attractive, comfortable, and caring atmosphere.
Discovering Carrington Assisted Living was truly the answer to our prayers—a beautifully renovated home in a nice central Tucson neighborhood, highly involved owners who live across the street and are accessible as needed, especially loving and capable caregivers, and truly individualized care for our mom’s unique needs. It is almost like having private caregiving 24/7!
And the care extends to mom’s family in many ways—such as the time Guy the owner bringing me food late at night when Mom was in the hospital, and the little surprise birthday they had for ME!!
I am thankful beyond measure that we found Carrington Assisted Living for our mother and recommend it highly.
